Celsius Ceramics: Following the Footsteps of Morris & James Matakana

A New Direction

We are excited to share that Celsius Ceramics is changing its direction. We are moving our focus toward a new era of artistry, following in the footsteps of the iconic Morris & James Pottery Matakana, where Yoko has been a designer for the last 23 years.

Drawing on those decades of experience and the distinctive Matakana aesthetic, Yoko d’Arnaud is now designing a dedicated range of New Zealand Ceramics for Celsius. These new collections will celebrate our natural world, specifically featuring our beautiful Native Birds and Landscapes.

Studio News: A New (Familiar) Location

Further to our change in design, we are thrilled to announce that the Celsius Ceramics studio will be relocated to an exciting and familiar new location.

We are all very excited by these upcoming developments and will keep you informed as more news comes to hand. This move allows us to fully embrace the scale and craft of our new ceramic collections.
